Jack London

John Griffith London was born on January 12, 1876 in San Francisco, California. Later, as an adolescent, he adopted the name Jack. One of London’s most famous novels, The Sea-Wolf was published in 1904 and would become the basis for the first full-length American movie. His 1906 novel, White Fang, was first serialized in the magazine Outing and has been adapted multiple time for the screen. Jack London died in Glen Ellen, California on November 22, 1916.
