Albom, Mitch
Mitchell David Albom (born May 23, 1958) is a best-selling author of fiction and non-fiction, and a newspaper columnist for the Detroit Free Press. Albom wrote Tuesdays With Morrie in 1997, a memoir of his favorite college professor, Morrie Schwartz. His next book was The Five People You Meet in Heaven published in September of 2003. Albom's second fiction book, For One More Day, published in 2006, was about a son who gets to spend a day with his mother who died eight years earlier.
