Wallenberg is the story of a man who risked everything to save Jews from the Holocaust. Born in 1892 in Hungary, Wallenberg worked in banking before the Nazis took over in 1933. When he learned of the concentration camps, he decided to do something to help. He smuggled thousands of Jews out of Hungary and into neutral Sweden, where they were safe. Wallenberg was finally captured by the Nazis in 1944 and executed in 1945. His story is a reminder that there are people in the world who are willing to do anything to help others.; B & W Illustrations and Photographs; 8vo; 243 pages; FSA.
