In Robak's Firm, thirteen-year-old Robak is determined to make something of himself, despite the disapproval of his parents. Robak is a good student, but he's not interested in studying the same subjects his parents are. He decides to become a lawyer, and starts working at a small law firm run by Mr. Robak. Mr. Robak is a tough but fair boss, and he helps Robak learn the ropes of being a lawyer. Robak is also able to gain invaluable experience working with clients and prosecuting cases. Robak's hard work pays off, and he is eventually offered a job as a law clerk at a larger law firm. Robak is thrilled, but he knows he won't be able to leave his old boss behind.
