Kilman's Landing tells the story of a young girl, Addie, who grows up on Kilman's Landing, a small fishing village in Maine. Addie is the only girl in her family, and her two older brothers are always away at sea. When Addie is just a little girl, her father dies, leaving her to care for her mother and three brothers. Addie is a bright and creative girl, and she finds her passion in art. She starts a small art gallery in her home, and her work begins to win awards. But when her brothers come home from sea, they start to take over the family business and Addie's dreams start to fade. She meets a man, Tim, who is visiting Kilman's Landing. Tim is a painter, and he is impressed by Addie's work. He starts to help her promote her art, and they start to spend time together. But when Tim leaves for New York, Addie starts to feel; 8vo; $6.00.
