Book Condition: Fine+ in Near Fine dust jacket
Edition: First Edition; First Printing
Publisher: London: Harpercollinspublishers, 1992.
A very nice first edition/first printing in Very Fine condition in unpriced Very Near Fine dustjacket with slightly sunned spine (otherwise Very Fine). Contrary to earlier volumes in the History of Middle-Earth series the unpriced jacket indicates the Book Club edition (only 2,000 copies printed, identical to trade edition with the exception of the lacking price) and not an export edition.
The ninth volume in J. R. R. Tolkien's "History of Middle Earth" and the account of the writing of The Lord of the Rings. Includes The End of the Third Age, The Notion Club Papers, and The Drowning of Anadûnê; The History of Middle-Earth; Vol. 9.
