This is the story of a boy, Peter, and his family. Peter's parents are divorcing and he is going through a lot. His father moves out and Peter has to start living with his mother. Peter's mother has a new boyfriend, Gary, and Peter is not sure if he is going to like him. Peter's mother is always busy with her work and Gary doesn't seem to do anything. One day, Peter's mother asks Gary to help her move some boxes. Gary helps and Peter starts to get to know him. Gary is a kind hearted man and Peter starts to feel better. One day, Gary asks Peter if he wants to go for a walk. Peter agrees and they start to walk. They talk about life and Peter starts to feel better.
