From the collection of Betty Anderson, legendary art director of publisher Knopf in the late 20th century as evidenced by her (small and unobtrusive) inventory number and signature on front paste down. Included is a typed, signed letter dated 3/13/84 (the day after publication) by June Sprigg to Betty Anderson thanking her for her contributions as well as a Knopf call-note advising Ms. Anderson of Ms. Sprigg's call. Also included are five flyers advertising the publication of the book (originally planned for November 1983, at $16.95. [The publication was delayed and the book was eventually issued at $17.95]).
