Mr. Sampson is noted in the index to the rear of the book and was one of the first Glider Pilots. Opposite the Foreword it also includes a Christmas 1985 inscription of Mr. Sampson to his son Jim "Hope you enjoy this as much as I did, being a part of it". A most attractive association copy.
