A Fine first printing of the first edition in Very Good+, lightly spine-darkened dust-jacket, little chipping along edges, signed and inscribed to a Virginia collector by author Alfred Murray on the half-title page. Murray further inserted his business card on page 7, where he made a handwritten correction, replacing "ellington-orchestrated" with "ellington-conjugated".
Here is a work that significantly enriches out view of American culture and literature by a writer who, as Robert Penn Warren has said "..... Has lived his book and has thought his book and has written it. He is his own man and has done things in his own way, and what he says demands to be heard" ; [x], 230 pages.
