The life of Herbert Gold, an American artist and sculptor, is vividly described in this book. Born in New York City in 1915, Gold attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and then the University of Chicago. A talented artist and sculptor, Gold worked in a variety of mediums, including painting, sculpture, and printmaking. He is best known for his sculptures of animal and human forms, which are often humorous and satirical. Gold died in 2006.; 8vo; 213 pages.
