When I was ten, my family moved to the suburbs of Vancouver. For the first time, I had my own room, my own TV, and my own driveway. I was so excited to be out of the house and away from my parents. I was also excited to be living in a new place.

One day, I was walking to school and I saw the Golden Gate Bridge. I had never seen anything so beautiful. I wanted to go on it, but I knew my parents wouldn’t let me. I was so disappointed.

Years later, I moved back to the city and I saw the Golden Gate Bridge again. This time, I was allowed to go on it. I was so happy. I think the bridge is so beautiful because it is so different than anything else in the city. It is a reminder of the beauty of the world outside of Vancouver.; 8vo; 217 pages.
