Amis, Martin

Martin Louis Amis (born August 25, 1949 in Oxford), son of Kingsley Amis, is a British writer known for his modern literature. His first novel, often considered “his most traditional work”, The Rachel Papers (1973), won the Somerset Maugham Award. Amis’ most famous novels are Money, London Fields, and The Information (sometimes referred to as the “London Trilogy”) describe the lives of middle-aged men in the 20th century Britain.
