Maggie is drawn to her mother's activism, but is also reluctant to abandon her own dreams. She starts working for her mother's campaign, but is frustrated by the lack of change in the world. Then, in the midst of the campaign, Maggie meets Jack, a young, unemployed man who is also frustrated with the state of the world.
