Original white buckram cover and rose-colored silk ties. Top edge gilt, others uncut. Gilt lettering on front cover and spine. Gold illustrations on endpapers. Thirteen mounted full-color illustrations including frontispiece (with tissue guard). Included is also one plate not included in the trade edition.

As much as possible, the Lambs used Shakespeare's own words, especially in the tragedies.
