This book, like many of Rudyard Kipling's, is full of tales of adventure and heroism. Many of the tales are set in India, a country that Kipling knew well. In Black and White, Kipling tells the story of two men, one white, one black, who go on a journey together. The white man is out to conquer the world, while the black man is there to serve him. The journey is difficult, but the two men overcome all obstacles together. Ultimately, the black man proves himself to be a better man than the white man, and the two men become friends.; 32mo; 118 pages.
