Orchid Blues - 1st Edition/1st Printing
A Fine first edition/first printing in alike dust-jacket. SIGNED by author Stuart Woods on the title page.
Woods' novel tells the story of Vietnam War veteran Orchid Anderson and her teenage son, Jason. Orchid has returned home to South Carolina after years of being away, only to find that Jason has become a different person. Jason is angry and resentful, and he feels like he doesn't fit in. Orchid is determined to find out what has happened to her son, and she starts to piece together the story of Jason's time in Vietnam.
Orchid and Jason's journey back to each other is a beautiful and emotional story, full of both joy and pain. Woods' writing is powerful and moving, and the plot is well developed. This is a great novel choice for fans of contemporary fiction.; 8vo; Signed by Author.
