Antarctic Traveller - 1st Edition/1st Printing
A nice first edition/first printing in Fine, seemingly unread condition, in alike, edged toned dust-jacket. From the collection of Betty Anderson, legendary art director of publisher Knopf in the late 20th century as evidenced by her (small and unobtrusive) inventory number on front paste down.
The book Antarctic Traveller is written by Katha Pollitt. It is a memoir of Pollitt's journey to the Antarctic. Pollitt travels to the Antarctic to study climate change and the effects of global warming. She is also interested in the history of the area. Pollitt's journey is a unique and interesting one.; 8vo.
